(Sorry just realised I hadn't set up the auto post correctly)
If you are puzzled why I haven't left a comment on your snap from last week - I'm away from cheap wifi - I'll be visiting last week's and this week's snap next week when I'm back to my normal borachband provision.
As part of my packing and preparation process I drew together this snap collection of the apple tree in my garden - when it was first in bloom in 2011 then flowering earlier this year and now the lovely fruit - hope the birds haven't got them all while I've been away.

Lovely! Looking forward to hearing about your time away!
I love the seasonal progression . I hope the wind hasn't knocked them off.
"Snap my apple tree" has a great ring to it. We could start using it as an exclamation. "Well, snap my apple tree! I think I'll put the kettle on.."
Yes, I am feeling a bit daft this afternoon :)
I knnow what you mean about cheap wifi. It was 10 euro a night in Berlin, so we didn't bother
How lovely to have the tree's growth and progress recorded.
I think Sian is on to something & I for one will start "Snap my apple tree ..." A very appropriately seasonal SNAP collection - apple pies abound everywhere in time for Thanksgiving.
Wow, it has really grown over the years! Hope you had a great trip away!
Oh nice - I was trying various apples today at the RHS autumn show. They were selling many different varieties from Wisley's orchards. I'm missing not having an apple tree here.
