prompted by the Simple Aussie Girls 1st simple scrap challenge template, to tell a simple story of my week.
I used the eyedropper tool to take all of the colours for the layout from the photos, including changing the colour of the stitching to match the strawberry, and date.
I turned the template into a 12 x 12 using resize canvas on the image menu and added the strip on the left.
Thanks to the simple Aussie girls for showcasing simple layouts and providing the versatile template.

I love this page and the sentiment behind it. (We can grow rocket, it's everything else we have trouble with!)
I love this Helena, I Like how you've extended it to a 12 x 12. Thanks for joining in.
This is great.
I also like the 12x12 conversion Helena, and where you placed the title - that is an excellent idea!
According to Enid Blyton, if you put a small bowl of milk in the garden, all the slugs crawl into it and drown. Might not be true, cause it did come from Enid Blyton, and also sounds kind of gross, but might be worth a shot?? Thanks for being involved in our challenge - I love your journaling especially!
Great that you have changed it to 12x12. Great topic for a page. Thanks for joining in our challenge!
sounds most delicious...wish I had my vege garden in! great page, thanks for playing.
That looks like a wonderfully tasty lunch! Love your take on the challenge :)
Great response to the challenge - and I'm impressed that you can grow your own food too, is there no end to your talents?! I can't grow a thing, me!
I can identify with the slug battle and the stripped plants! Love your take on the design - picking out the colours of the photos works so beautifully.
Love your take on the challenge...it's on my 'to do' list!
