Pair of pipers

watching all the pipebands on Sunday provided lots of pair possibilities - pipe and drum, coming and going, various styles and colours but in the end I went for this contrast

I love how all the legs are at the same angle in both images - clearly the marching is practiced as well as the music.

wondering what pairs you will all have captured this week - the creativity and range of subjects is fabulous

A great pair, Helena. I couldn't play in a marching band - I can't walk in step and play at the same time!!

That's a different one! Bagpipes always make me feel emotional. I would probably blubber if I saw that many!

I love this one! Maybe a favourite from this year?

This pair is fabulous! I remember my two-year experience in a marching band and the difficulty of staying in step with everyone else.

What a Pair - great catch. Amazing that they all march in step even within their own bands. This one makes me smile.

Just realised that I forgot to leave a comment! I love these photo pairs Helena and these would make a good photo of people wearing the same outfit for the scavenger hunt too. Wishing I could be there to enjoy the festival. Have a great time.
