12 photos on the 12th

I first did 12 on the 12th last month when I saw a reminder on a blog evening of the 11th and thought ‘I could do that’.  Then my sister was looking through my old posts at the weekend and said ‘it’s almost the 12th  what will you take photos of?’. So I thought I’d do it again.  But I’m concerned I have now embarked on a commitment every month. 12 is a lot to take on a normal day, perhaps I should switch to 7 on the 7th but then again some challenge is good.  Will have to wait to see how I feel about it in a month.

Today I decided to concentrate on close up and detail rather than scenes and vistas in my photos.

12th January

compressing A4 sheets seems to lose more detail than compressing smaller jpeg files.  something I need to look into.

I really like this idea. Thanks for sharing. I need to find a good day to get started - maybe I'll start in February.

Love it, such a good idea - hadn't come across it till this month and now a couple of people have mentioned it. I might do a '25 on the 25th' kind of thing to go alongside my 'Scrap Your Day' on the 25th of each month - I'm guessing I'll take way too many photos as it is to make sure I have enough I want to scrap, so 25 seems do-able! Love all your close-ups, especially the cat :-)

Love the close-ups, too. I'm thinking 5 on the 5th might work right now. Maybe when it's nicer outside, I could manage 12 on the 12th!
