Oh yes geese nesting is a sure sign of spring. Such a calm scene you have captured.
I don't think I have ever seen a goose actually on a nest like this - great to see what it looks like. Hopefully there'll be picture of little goslings on the months to come :).

Cool! We have thousands of geese here, but I've never encountered a nest.
Never seen a sitting goose before, but saw a couple of nesting swans at the weekend - will post pics soon.
Oh! what a great six! I wonder if there will be young soon? I've never seen a goose on a nest either. Thank you for joining in again Helena. x
