Storytelling Sunday – the chocolate fountain

storytelling feb

A kilo of chocolate in the chocolate fountain seemed like an awful lot of chocolate but with 15 people and bowls of marshmallows, plum, apricot and orange it soon disappeared.

Joining up with Sian’s Storytelling Sunday – the photo and a few words version.

My hairdresser was just telling me this week how good these are .. twice in the one week - a message for me I am sure!

Oh, and I haven't even had breakfast yet! Looks luscious ...

We were given one once and decided we would eat far too much chocolate if we kept it. So we passed it on to someone else with more self control than me! But they are so much fun.

That looks amazing! It would be dangerous for a chocoholic like me to be anywhere near to one though, so I will just ogle your picture!

The worrying thing is that I could very probably have got through that myself!!!

mmmmmmmm, that looks absolutely delicious, though I have to admit I have avoided buying one as the thought of the washing up & the wasted chocolate puts me off.

Oh, yes, that's the perfect combination of a photo and a story in a few words! And what a very tempting looking fountain it is too..

Thanks for joining us this month Helena, it's great to see you

We were bought a choccie fountain a few years back and it remains unused in it's box! I think it would be really messy... am I wrong??? Is it all worth it???

Wow, that photo & the one sentence certainly tell a great story . . . and it looks yummy, too.

Awww... so nice!! We bought DS a chocolate fondue, for his annual Christmas party. It's been used two years in a row now and goes down very well! This time I melted dark and white chocolate, then carefully poured them into the fondue dish, so there was a half-and-half effect. That caused great excitement. J. and his friends had a wonderful time, dipping in their skewers, bearing bits of fruit (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, mandarin segments, grapes) and small biscuits etc. They were quiet for five whole minutes!
That chocolate fountain looks wonderful, but sounds sticky and gooey - not to mention expensive. Lovely though! Now then, is dinner ready yet?

It looks yummy - always a favourite of mine at buffets but would be deadly in our house. :)
