I've been trying out crochet spirals with several colours. After admiring lots of fabulous examples on the internet and reading several tutorials I sat down with wool and hook and a pile of stitch holders.
The first part of the process is a fiddle but once the pattern is established it is methodical but you have to pay attention to count stitches and change colour. I'm pleased with the end result and ready to move on from practice to a real project.
Hoping you are all having a good start to March and looking forward to what you are sharing in a pair.

I am glad you got there in the end and I love the result
This is such a great pair. And now you've thrown down the challenge..is this what I must learn to do next?!
Well done for completing your spiral, it does look complicated at the beginning.
I'm impressed - I can't even do granny squares yet!
and I can't turn corners! this is a great Pair Helena, the colours are beautiful, I can't wait to see the 'real thing'
I also like the pair 'start and finished'
I can imagine how frustrating that must be with all the stitch markers and counting! Great pairs!! Good luck with the "real" project,,,
I am totally impressed Helena...the finished result is very effective! xx
