around here nature seems to be in abundance - leaves and flowers in profusion, the chicks on the river, and lots of critters flitting amongst the leaves
I was aiming for the beautiful butterfly but when editing the photo I spotted the fly I captured too.
Lovely to see lots of butterflies around at the moment - they look lovely and they are a great excuse to keep some weeds as good butterfly habitat.
Wondering what everyone else has captured this week

That's a very pretty one, Helena - we just seem to have cabbage whites up here ...
Jealous of your beautiful butterfly - haven't spotted any here ... but then I haven't planted any peas or cabbages!
I love that what you have captured here with these two pictures isn't just the butterfly, but that feeling we get when we decide to creep closer to something like a butterfly in the hope that we can get a closer look
Great shot of the butterfly. I can't seem to get mine to sit still long enough for a portrait. :-)
You just know that that butterfly was mad at having its portrait photo-bombed by that fly!
Linking up today with a scene I also captured in the sunshine.
:-)
great capture...I love how GREEN everything is there...
Lovely photos! Great capture! We haven't had any butterflies yet but I am hoping to see them soon!
A photo-bombing fly! I love that!

Fabulous Zoom In shot. Have hardly seen any butterflies in London of late.
Well done on that butterfly shot....I can NEVER get them!

Butterflies are too elusive for me at the moment. We have lots of cabbage whites but yesterday I saw two of those tiny little blue ones. A lovely ZIZO again Helena.
Beautiful butterfly! Ad I love the photobombing fly.
Beautiful capture!
Lovely shots!
Great butterfly shot. I must get back to this.
