ignoring the rain outside to wave to you all, and an extra wave for Sian home from her holiday.
with wind and rain outside I was happy to settle down to some crochet – inspired by a necklace worn by our tutor at the gallery and using the wool we were allowed to take home from that event I crocheted a chain – no not the basic chain that starts every crochet project but a big funky chunky chain made of links
more evidence, if any is needed, that crochet lends itself to many forms and some crocheteers are nutty / highly creative
with no let up on the rain likely today I’m anticipating an afternoon of crochet on my jumper (doing the sleeves).
Hope you all have opportunities for some creativity this week.

Gosh, is there anything which can't be crocheted? Very imaginative! This looks very light and soft to wear too ... Rain here too. Lots. Sympathising.
Well that is SO unique - marvelously creative of you.
Miserable weather here too!
Certainly doesn't feel like July here either. But as you so rightly point out..what a perfect excuse for sitting inside with some crochet. I think this is fab.
Oops: I posted before I'd wished you a good week
I like that! It's good fun. Wondering if something similar might form the basis for a funky scarf. Maybe wider, floppier links... What do you reckon? Haven't made anything for ages and looking forward to seeing your finished jumper.
Down south, we had 2 inches of rain on Friday, 2 yesterday with a sunny day in between. I was kind of happy as I got the gardening done but didn't have to do any watering - either my own or holiday makers'!
Enjoy your week.
Oh wow, that's so inventive. I've managed a little creative time this afternoon. Starting the week as I mean to go on! Have a good week yourself :-)
I am in the rain too....a visit to mum this weekend....I must say I won't be sad to see the back of these grey skies! Xx
Love it!
Waving back at you from windy Winnipeg!
