looking out of the window at the buddleia I realised it would be perfect for a revisit to last year's meme of zoom in, zoom out
I think the yellow ball at the bee's tail is a collection of pollen.
Looking forward to seeing what treasure you have collected this week in your pairs

It seems to be a week of insects. Great shot of the bee close up on the Buddleia, which I think is the same as what we call Butterfly Bush.
Lovely close up of the bee, with his precious collection. We used to call it the Butterfly Bush too. Joining in again this week.
The colour contrast of the buddlieia against that richly shaded stonework behind is wonderful.
We called it a butterfly bush too. And it has a retro feel for me because we had a huge one in the garden when I was growing up
gorgeous flowers..and great shot with the bee
Funnily enough, I drove past one yesterday and randomly wondered whether "butterfly bush" was widely used, or just my friend's name for a buddleia! Thanks for clearing that up!
never seen this plant before, very pretty :)
Gorgeous flowers!! And a great closeup of your garden "critter"!
I love Buddliea. I have planted two "dwarf" ones in the garden I am beginning to wonder whether the nursery fully understood the word....
Cool pairing. I like Buddleia and there are a couple in the garden - here self sown in rather interesting places.
I do love to see buddlieia especially when covered with bees and butterflies.
I don't believe I've ever seen Buddleia, and I never gave any thought to the the yellow ball at the bee's tail. We do have a "butterfly bush" in our garden at home, but it's very different from this.
What a lovely idea! I love buddlia, sadly ours all grew too old but I plan to buy a new one sometime soon
