snap delicate

Another subject matter that is widely seen as a pest to be removed

when I went into the garden for some much needed weeding, I couldn't resist playing with my camera first - I had to take these unseen as the camera was nearly on the ground then sort through for the good ones.

Just dug up loads and removed flowers and buds and the rest of the seed heads but I know there will be lots more flowers next week - they know how to survive!

Thank you all for your continued interest as fellow snappers, commentators and silent visitors

You have some lovely images. I think it is always interesting to see what is defined as a weed or a wanted garden plant because they can all be equally pretty.

Those are beautiful images!

These are great, Helena. I don't have much success with that technique, so I've been know to lay on my stomach if need be. Of course, there are many times, when I'm simply unwilling to get dirty, and pass on the photo! The light is just wonderful on these---especially the last one.

WOW to this SNAP collection - these are fantastic close up shots of the dandelion seed head. Like your technique.

These are lovely. You've given me an idea for a set of photos for my hall - thanks!

great shots of the dandelions...I am just about to head out to my yard and start pulling up a zillion of them!

Beautiful! I always try to pull them up before they reach that stage but if they do I can't help admiring them.

Cool shots.

I took a shot of a dandelion clock today - always so pretty and delicate looking. This garden was fairly bereft of anything but a dandelion survived by the edge of the fence.

Those are lovely. I tried and failed miserably to get some nice pictures of dandelion clocks yesterday.

These are just fabulous! I brought a seed head into the house to do the same thing but of course I didn't have the beautiful blue sky.
