Scavenger hunt progress

when I read through the summer scavenger hunt list from Rinda I was dividing them in my mind into 3 categories

* I know where to find that

* keep my eyes open

* good luck

So far I have gone to capture 4 of those in the ‘know where to find them category’ – the gnome and these 3

ssh-14-17

ssh-19

ssh-1

and I spotted this from the ‘eyes wide open’ category when we were at the aquarium (with amphibians)

ssh-11

enjoying the hunt and keeping my eyes open for a tattoo that I can photograph, a bakery and birds on a wire.

You could mix things up and do the Military tattoo? that would be quirky and stir up a bit of confusion :)

I love so much about your post today: the categorization of the hunt items; the light in your first two photos; the composition of the two lamp posts and one tree in the top photo; and your home town motto. All fantastic! Sian's the second or third person to mention military tattoo. Have to go look that up.

Those categories are great! I have most of the "I know where to find it," so am left with the other two. Love the home town motto!

I'm hoping I might find a horn of the musical variety this week..it is Fiesta this week and I hope to catch the local band marching at some point!....lovely pics!

Great finds! The public garden looks so beautiful and I love the sign for your town.

I have similar categories too..but often what I think is easy to find becomes difficult and something I think I will never get, turns up within walking distance of my house!

I love how you presented these items.

I divide them up into those three categories too. Interesting take on a horn.

Great "horn." There are several photos on the list that I'm going to be hard-pressed to get... at least there's plenty of time.

The longer the hunt goes on the more I realise that several of the prompts are falling into the 'good luck' category!

Great finds! I really like that first photo and love your idea for the horn. I really have to get going on mine, although we did finally see a welcome to our town sign - I just have to go get a picture of it.
