using a pom pom maker for the first time - way easier than with bits of card like we used to. Some are fuller than others because I was experimenting with size and fullness.
I added them to the bottom of a decorative strip I had crocheted
using a pattern for lace but with bigger hook and yarn.
Having just taken down my winter / snowman wreath I needed a spring decoration - before I put up my summer bunting.
At the talk of knitting I was at last week they were giving away some wool and I chose a small ball in these 5 colours because I thought they made a good spring palette - at the time I wasn't sure how I would use them.
A big pompom wave to you all and hope you have a good week

Delightful!
How delicate they are - and such pretty colours.
So festive!
Lovely. We had a Pom Pom maker when we were kids. I bet my mum still has it!
Very festive; I need to put up some spring decorations when we get home!
How very pretty. Like a string of bright tulips. I remember threading wool through circles of card cut from a cereal packet too!
It turned out adorable, so nice to have a use for your experimenting :)
Oh, don't they look beautiful! They have a bit of a canal boat look, maybe? I'm interested in the pompom maker. I've always wondered if they were better than bits of card. They certainly seem to do the trick.
Wishing you a great week
