Snap and Hunt with animals
My set this week was the result of a family discussion of sets to photograph in Edinburgh – we mentioned several more animal sculptures so I may have a part 2 of this later in the year.
And animal statue is one of the alternates on the winter scavenger hunt so another ticked of that list too.
I’m enjoying all the ways in which you are using snap and look forward to more creativity this week

A good collection of very realistic animal statues and a good find for the hunt. I have found a few but I am hoping to find some more on Sunday when I am hoping to do the whole of the Sculpture Trail that we did some of with Miriam. I must admit I hadn't particularly thought of selecting out an animal from a person/animal one. That is a good idea. I look forward to seeing part 2.
That's a good idea for a theme ... London has so many statues that I may be able to fill the whole year with linked images!
Oh what a neat set of animals. I like the birds in a line - reminds me of the Make Way for Ducklings similar statue in Boston. The Bear intrigues me too.
While horses are always a favourite, I really like the adoring dog statue. Great finds ... oh & I can can hear those ducks quacking as the bear roars them along ...
Another great idea for SNAP! I love the ducks.
I'm chuffed to see how fast Snap! is catching on. There have been some wonderful sets so far and this is no exception
That's a great theme to build a set around. Something to keep in mind for later in the year, or at least once it stops raining!
This gives me an idea for another Snap this year - animal sculptures in downtown Dallas! :)
OOOhhh - Edinburgh! Our second destination for our vacation this summer. Would love to hear any suggestions for what we shouldn't miss!
great collection...and looking forward to seeing set 2!
Love those ducks! xx
Love these!
And I might just have to use this alternative in the hunt if I can't spot a robin.
