I’ve noticed a lot of roses still hanging on in the gardens around here, including mine. I was surprised, though, to see marigolds producing flowers at this time of year.

Nature is a trooper, isn't she! Wonderful to be greeted by such bright life energy on a cold wet grey morning. :)
The last freeze took all our roses away. Looks like some of the buds just shattered!
