more shots over the Firth of Forth today - looking towards Edinburgh this time. I was fascinated with watching the waves form as the hightide hit the sand which is full of birds at low tide
while I was zoomed in on the waves a flock of birds flew back an forth just skimming the water so I've used them for a second pair - zoom and double zoom (on the computer)
Looking forward to another lovely range of subject matter from all of you lovely ladies who are sharing this meme - I smile each time I see another link added - thank you.
You have a keen eye for a good shot, Helena: the close-ups really show what your eye must have sensed at a distance. Seeing the sea always makes me happy!
ReplyDeleteI could stand there all day!
ReplyDeleteSeeing your "zooms" makes me think, not for the first time, about how amazing it is - we can see things our ancestors could never see just because we have a technical ability to bring them closer.
ReplyDeleteBbbrrrr - a great set of photos but I'm feeling the chill here! More sun next week please!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful captures Helena. I wish I lived close enough to the ocean to visit every day!
ReplyDeleteThe first pairing is very cool; just look at that sky.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the meme! I'm enjoying it very much, as I do your photos every week! This week is no exception. Love the first set especially. I'm hoping it will warm up enough soon to take some photographs outdoors. It's so cold here, you're advised to stay in unless necessary.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful look at the waves and the birds this week Helena.
ReplyDeleteLove the waves!
ReplyDeleteYour shots are fantastic, Helena! I'm so sorry I've been so absent lately. I do love seeing everyone's ZIZO's here and there. I need to get busy and join in the fun. In the meantime, thanks for hosting this meme! It's a fun one!
ReplyDeleteOhh wonderful - love the little birds flying.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots of the sea. Love the different perspective once you zoom in.
ReplyDeleteSome good shots.
ReplyDeleteThank you. Love love, Andrew. Bye.
Lovely pairings, Helena...I hope to link with mine later today
