Zoom in on the waves

more shots over the Firth of Forth today - looking towards Edinburgh this time. I was fascinated with watching the waves form as the hightide hit the sand which is full of birds at low tide




while I was zoomed in on the waves a flock of birds flew back an forth just skimming the water so I've used them for a second pair - zoom and double zoom (on the computer)

    You have a keen eye for a good shot, Helena: the close-ups really show what your eye must have sensed at a distance. Seeing the sea always makes me happy!

    Seeing your "zooms" makes me think, not for the first time, about how amazing it is - we can see things our ancestors could never see just because we have a technical ability to bring them closer.

    Thank you for the meme! I'm enjoying it very much, as I do your photos every week! This week is no exception. Love the first set especially. I'm hoping it will warm up enough soon to take some photographs outdoors. It's so cold here, you're advised to stay in unless necessary.
