Joining Julie again from my month in numbers and the communal count
I spent much of my month doing seasonal things with fruit
and spent a week away
Another 2 fascinating items in the communal count – how far away do I live from my 1st school
and how much milk do I consume and what does it cost. I have to admit that I had to look on a receipt for the cost as I’ve never been one to know and always wonder why politicians are lambasted when they don’t know.
Thanks Julie for this monthly accounting
Love your pages with your numbers Helena - and Bangkok for a workshop - that is some distance to travel! Jen x
ReplyDeleteI know exactly what you mean about not knowing about the price of milk! I only made myself pay attention so I could count it for MinN! It's one of those things that you *need* to have - so just use, blindly. A bit like electricity really!
ReplyDeleteYour month sounds fascinating - like Jennie, the workshop in Bangkok grabbed my attention too. A walking food tour sounds great [especially as you were in in a great position to convince yourself to eat more as you were getting exercise at the same time!]
You're on the board with the others now: You're on the board now Helena - so you can see how your school distance measures up now: http://pinterest.com/notesonpaper/my-month-in-numbers/
Happy October!
Julie :-)
I always know the price of milk, but I buy 14 gallons a month so it's a large item in my groceries.
ReplyDeleteGreat numbers!
What a lovely foody month Helena. I love the photo for your 'week away' I had to look on the supermarket web site to find the price of milk!
ReplyDeleteI'm one of those too who doesn't know the price of milk - we have to have it so I just get it. :) I love how you've done your numbers. I must get back to doing that.
