November

The beginning of another month so time to summarise last month in numbers.  Thanks to Julie for this prompt which I’ve enjoyed all year.

And here is the advent calendar I made for my parents, inspired by an idea in a supermarket Festive magazine. The bowl is filled with 24 paper cones each of which contains a small festive treat.  I printed the labels and cut out with my tag punch.

  1. Sounds like a very nicely balanced month mixing excercise, nature, creativity and culture. Lovely!

I've never thought of making something like that for my parents - what a nice idea.

You're on the board now: http://pinterest.com/notesonpaper/my-month-in-numbers/

Thanks for joining in once again - so glad you enjoy it. Happy December!

  3. Your parents are going to enjoy the Advent season opening all those cones. Even adults like having fun. It's nice to learn another person enjoys walking. I absolutely love it. I do go to the gym, but I love my walking better than sweating it out at the gym. I have been known to walk 8 miles in one day--but I was really exhausted when I got home1

  6. Oh those little advent cones are such a cute idea! I enjoyed reading your month in numbers and I think it's cool that there's such a variety of activities (especially between opera, ballet and hip hop). :o)

  8. A lovely way of displaying your numbers for the month. I love that advent idea, I might look at something like this for DH next year instead of a stocking.
