Snap cats
These cats all live locally - I see them when I'm out walking or out of my kitchen window. I don't know the name of any or where they live.
The black and white one is often sitting under than tree - I suspect it is a dry and cosy spot.
The tabby and white looking startled is sitting on my compost bin and was watching me warily as I opened my window to capture they shot - they seem to use this as a staging post before going over the wall into the next door garden - I suspect to 'watch' the birds she feeds
The sleeping tabby was enjoying a spot of sunshine and seemed unperturbed by people walking by.
The two on the fence I saw at the end of the garden - I think they were disputing whose spot that is.
Looking forward to seeing the visual sets you have noticed and captured this week
Great cat shots showing some of their characteristics! Lots of tabby cats! The black and white is my favourite.
ReplyDeleteYou seem to have a lot of cats where you live - do you get many birds in the garden? I like the tabby cats.
ReplyDeleteThey're a healthy looking lot!
ReplyDeleteOh I do like your Snap today - my personal favourite of all times. They all give me big smiles.
ReplyDeleteThe black & white (what we call a tuxedo cat) looks quite a large cat. Snoozing kitty is very handsome, like his orange highlights. Nice to know that for sure at least 3 out of the 5 have owners that collar so you know they are not feral. Both my fur girls are strictly indoor cats; I know who they play with & they are not bothering neighbours gardens (wink wink) & not bothering my chipmunks & birds!
They are a good looking bunch. Reminds me of the cats in Istanbul, which were also healthy looking and everywhere!
ReplyDeletelovely cat photos...it makes me miss mine!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh! what a great idea for Snap. I have one cat who visits our garden with the strict intention of bothering poor daft Pepsi.. It wouldn't make a very good snap. Sorry Ive been AWOL for a couple of weeks. The black & white is my favourite as I miss my b&w so much.
ReplyDeleteThis post reminds me that there used to be a beautiful orange tabby that would come sun itself on our back deck. Haven't seen him/her in quite awhile. My girls are both indoor cats.
ReplyDeleteI love cats! If only The Brainy One wasn't allergic to them ...
ReplyDeleteLovely set. I like seeing the neighbourhood cats as I wander, Wookie will always stop to chat to them too.
ReplyDeleteI've recently acquired a regular feline visitor. A handsome chap and an excellent mouser (as I discovered over Easter - ew!). I'm allergic but I don't mind admiring from afar...
ReplyDeleteCute snaps!
ReplyDeleteNice pictures Helena. Got a chuckle out of your comment about watching the birds next door.
