I have 2 different apple varieties - the red ones are just about ripe - I have eaten and enjoyed the ones from a branch of this tree with more direct sunshine. The others are not ready yet. I do enjoy being able to eat apples from my garden.
Anticipating a lovely variety of pairs from you all this week
Doesn't apple blossom time seem an age ago? There seems to be an abundance of apples wherever you look this year which is lovely. Well remembered and I like your choice of pairing options.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Maggie - the apple blossom was so long ago! I am impressed that you remembered to take the second photo.
ReplyDeleteA very nice Then & Now. What will you make with such abundance? In my part of the world apples seem to be in abundance also. Apples and hostas are having a great growing year.
ReplyDeleteGood thinking, and a great pair. I think I like the fall image even better than those beautiful blossoms.
ReplyDeletegreat planning! I love the texture of the weathered boards too.
ReplyDeleteTwo strikingly different and lovely views
ReplyDeleteCool planning and photos - are they cordons? I like being able to have more than one type of fruit. Spreads the harvest out and adds taste.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea getting the before and after. Unfortunately the squirrels usually beat us to the apples but the ones we have managed to get first were delicioius - nothing like what you buy in the stores.
